Great Doggie Coats

The weather here in Virginia has turned cold very fast this year.  We all instantly pull out our favorite coats, sweaters, hoodies and warm winter hats.  Naturally we also think about keeping our dogs warm. Our little Yorkies, Lily and Nutmeg definitely love to keep warm. Eli, our German Shorthaired Pointer is now full size but seems to be the one that shivers the most in the cold weather. So, I decided to look around for some new dog clothes for our favorite friends.  Here are a few ideas that include stylish finds from Etsy, Ralph Lauren, and L.L. Bean.

Designspiration: Peter Clark

I happened upon the art of Peter Clark as I was searching the web last week.  What an amazing artist!  All of his pieces are collage work from patterned, textured, written or worn surfaces and paper.  He literally "paints" his collages with his found items.  He has a special "dog" category which, of course, caught my eye.  He also has a few other miscellaneous categories but it is really work checking out!  Enjoy!

New! Custom Designed Doggie Art Prints

Recently I had the pleasure of designing for a family friend their own one-of-a-kind doggie art from pictures of their two darling dogs, Kylie and Kassidy. As a result  we have just added that option to our Barkley & Wagz™ Art Print Collection.  It is very simple.  We are offering the option of having it printed on Heavy Archival Matte Paper or Canvas Gallery Wraps. Just decide what you would like it printed on and send us 2-4 photos of your dog.  Within 2-3 weeks you will receive a proof to review and if all looks good it will go off to be printed and delivered to your doorstep.

Here are the two darling doggies, Kylie and Kassidy.

Meet the Mutts

Time to meet the Mutts!  I have two very special friends that seem to pop up in my artwork from time to time.  They are our two adorable yorkies …

Nutmeg …. Here she takes a trip to space on our large vinyl wall graphics.

Their favorite activity this time of year is keeping watch for the squirrels who are gathering acorns.  Luckily the squirrels are faster then they are!

We also offer a full line of growth charts.  They are great gifts when a new baby arrives in the family!
