Fabric designer, Tula Pink is another one of the designers that continues to create amazing fabric collections. Her work is incredibly intricate and lends itself so well to the world of quilting. I love her bio on her website where she talks about her journey and she says "So here I sit, an exiled rock princess on a throne of bolds and bobbins." I believe to fabric lovers and surface designers she is more like a queen. She works today with Free Spirit Fabrics and continues to product here signature looks for not just quilting but DIY-ers who love to turn her fabric into their own unique creations.
We are very excited to debut a our new fabric “Lion Safari” that is being released January 30th by David Textiles. It’s a darling cotton fabric collection perfect for that little boy’s room!
This year four of my children’s designs were picked up by David Textiles for fleece fabric. They have been on sale with Hancock Fabrics nationwide. It was a real thrill the day the samples landed on my doorstep. I have been sewing since I was a kid, so to see my own designs on fabric was great. I will keep you posted as they have picked up another children’s collection that will be out in 2012!
